In Turrialba, we have done many things.

On the first day we went to go pray over a little boy and his family. He had been seeing dark shadows and unable to sleep.  He sleeps good every night now.

The next couple days we went to work on a families house. She was a single lady with 4 kids (all young). She was not a christian, but her parents were members of the church so we went to help build the house and preach.

We leveled the ground to build, and moved dirt in buckets and milk crates to the other side of yard. The house was built on a huge mountain and next to a beautiful waterfall.  The first day here, our host came up to me and told me I was preaching. I did not prepare and just trusted God to give me the words. We all went in house, had coffee, and then I preached. Ella led worship.

The police also came today. We went to the back of the house and prayed. The police were trying to remove the family off of their property. We prayed and God protected the family and us.

The next day, we went back to that house. We worked hard, Got some Coca-cola, and then Nathan got to preach. He preached on forgiveness, then we invited the family to church the next weekend (they came that sunday!!)

The next day, we went to the store and made food bags to go give to houses that God sends us to. ( check out my upcoming blog)

The next few days we did alot, so here ya go:

-Built showers in backyard for ministry house

– Preached at houses

– Celebration recovery on Fridays.  I got to share at this church and then we split into small groups.

– Church on Sunday, and teaching English afterwards

– Church on Wednesday nights

– praying for people who come by the house

– We have team time every night.

– working on a ranch, building a garage, so garage can be used for church!

Our ministry is incredible. The local Costa Rican team is incredible. Jesus is Incredible.  I cant wait to see what else the Lord does here. I have seen so much happen this first week!
